Lambeth Nightingales

When Felicity Maries, Sarah Henderson and I got together to run Stories# we thought, why don't we get together and sing a folk song at the end of the night, after all, we all sing. We stood up and sang our song, the crowd loved it, we thought ' we sound quite good together'. So the next Stories#2 we sang two songs and you can probably guess what happened next. We sing old folk tunes about women thwarted in love from the 18th century etc. So real happy stuff. Some spirituals and some more modern tunes but yes mainly old folk tunes.

We sing at every Stories# and can be seen at the occasional Red Lion Kennington folk night and singing for friends weddings.
