York Theatre Royal - Takeover Festival

When Felicity Maries, Sarah Henderson and I got together to run Stories# we thought, why don't we get together and sing a folk song at the end of the night, after all, we all sing. We stood up and sang our song, the crowd loved it, we thought ' we sound quite good together'. So the next Stories#2 we sang two songs and you can probably guess what happened next. It's been a year since our first Stories# night. What a year! We have had an amazing eclectic mix of acoustic music artists. And true to our word, we focused on story based performers, having a remarkable mix of spoken word, poets and of course Storytellers. Watch this space for Spring 2018's Stories# night.
