The show is done, 2nd stage is up!

Well I can't believe it has been 2 months since we completed our 4 nights of our show! Last Thursday saw 10 members of the original cast meet up for the next stages of the competition. After 5 months rehearsal period we produced a stonking sell out show. We had some great reviews and people loved our take and view on the women who inspired Shakespeare! So we are through to the second stage of the competition to be held on the 25th July at Questers in London. Here the showdown will begin! We will perform alongside several other companies and then we will all vote on which one we think should go through to the final at the RSC in Stratford itself.

We only get 10 mins to perform so Jane our writer has been hard at work editing and re-producing a section of our show, the results are quite brilliant. She has taken the majority of the words and lines that I had as Ann ( I was primary telling the story) and shared them out with some great characters. We had our first read through last week adn for many of us it was the first time we were back together after the play. It was fab to see people again but sadly it is only 10 of us now so the cast was somewhat depleted and it did feel slightly sad to be doing the show without all the cast, but that's the life of performing.

So keep your ears peeled for tickets and info on our performance in July and pencil the date in your diary!
